Soil: granitic, high natural filtering, dry and poor, favorable to high quality wine production

Grapes: Gamay black, white juice

Vines Age: 6 and 30 years old  

Cultivation method:  Biodynamie , DEMETER certification in addition to ECOCERT organic certification (FR-BIO-01), High density plantation (more than 6500 plants/ ha)


After a humid and variable spring, we had a very warm and dry summer and autumn. This summer’s high temperature put our Granitic located Gamay in extreme conditions. A 22 mm hail-free rain fall was highly welcome few days prior this harvest as it brought some freshness to our vines.

Jewel of our wine yard, nice fresh fruits and white flowers aromas.

Harvest:  12 to 14 September 2018, manual harvest

Wine making method: Beaujolaise at low temperatures, indigene yeast, 50% in barrels 50% in stainless steel

Analyses : 13° ,  51 mg SO2 total
